I have experienced myself as cause in many ways over the years.  I am now completing 15 years as Editor-in-Chief of the daily American Reporter, the first original (meaning with its own dedicated reporters, not just recycled print content) daily newspaper to start on the Internet (on April 10, 1995).  We won a US Supreme Court case (Shea v Reno) and got the global scoop on the IRA ceasefire in 1998.  Under the auspices of the US State Dept., we have educated journalists from 49 countries on the use of the Internet as a tool for journalism.  Unlike many who began much later, we have never had an investor; instead, we have invested ourselves, our work, our time and energy in The American Reporter to maintain a source of news and commentary not limited by advertisers’ whims or publishers’ edicts.  I also started the HHO Games & Exposition, which had the first-ever large-scale gathering of people interested in or selling on-board hydrogen kits to help cars save gas and cut emissions.  This is a long uphill battle to perfect these kits, and we have made tremendous progress toward freeing people from the burden of expensive fuel.  Beyond that, I am working as an individual to trick the mysteries and secrets of energy in new forms out of the hidden places of the world.  That is a great adventure, and it is succeeding, too.  I will always feel a subtantial debt to Werner for a part of my learning curve in which it departed from the normal and began to look at the world in a new way - and to accelerate dramatically.  I wish I could share with you all I have learned about the inner and outer world through that process.  Thank you, Werner - and I’m sorry I dislocated your jaw during the first 7-Day Training!
